Conflict Resolution and Violence Reduction

Interpersonal violence is a very real and very destructive force in many college students' lives. It is reported that as many as 25% of high school relationships are violent ones. Not taking action can have serious implications for these situations. Intervention can possibly save someone's life.

Programs focus on:

  • Understanding that conflict can begin with the littlest of things
  • Conveying clearly defined behavorial expectations
  • Promoting mutual respect and appreciation of differences
  • Incentives and recognition for positive behavior
  • Resolving your own interpersonal skills in a growth producing manner
