Life 101 ModelResidential Education as an office supports the academic mission of the university and all REO staff have a unique opportunity to address growth and issues which are difficult, and oftentimes not taught in the traditional classroom. Programming is Teaching; Educating the Whole PersonWe believe most, if not all students have unstructured time and are open to new ideas. Residence halls present a window of opportunity to design intentional communities-- activities and environments which reduce risk and facilitate positive growth and change! Our programming model of residential education is to support traditional developmental needs of students and address risk issues and needs reflecting current critical social issues.
