Federal Investigator Training
Series of eLearning lessons developed in Storyline
What I enjoyed most about this project was closely replicating and simulating the everyday tasks the learner will encounter in their role as an investigator for the US Department of Labor. In addition to instructions and interactions, most lessons include real case files (with PII removed), where the learner downloads and reviews documents similar to what they do in their daily jobs. After reviewing the case file, the learner then codes a virtual form similar to the one an investigator codes on a daily basis.
Performance support tools can also be downloaded to assist them with their job tasks later on, in addition to helping them complete the lessons. This provides each learner tangible job aids and support materials they can take with them, making the lessons even more beneficial in their post-training experience.
